What is structural drying?
Structural drying is the process of extracting moisture from within building materials like drywall, framing, and insulation using specialized equipment, rather than simply removing standing water from surfaces.
Structural drying targets moisture trapped inside the building envelope itself. After water extraction removes standing water and surface moisture, water absorbed by wood framing, drywall, insulation, concrete, and subflooring remains a problem.
